Villa Tarentaal is named after the guinea fowl that run freely in our secluded gardens.

Attractions

Christine offers her therapeutic massages and Mike, known locally as the ‘Man of the Mountain’, will still be there to enchant you with his passion for his pristine garden: wisteria and grapevines spider up the mustard-coloured house; an orgy of colour is provided by the roses; and the lawn is so well-kept it would make the green-keepers of Augusta, well… green with envy.

You’ll also witness an abundance of bird life here including Egyptian geese, fish eagles and probably a brace of mating blue crane.

All the cottages have open fireplaces, the bathrooms have been stylishly modernized with new tiling and top-of-the range showers and new ceiling fans have been installed for those hot summer nights.
